Business of Childcare | Virtual

This five-course series introduces the key business principles of owning and operating your own in-home early childcare center. Topics include business administration, permits and licensing, marketing, and budgeting. You’ll create a business plan and learn about community resources and steps to starting or strengthening your own business. Please plan to attend every session.

Week 3: Your budget and your financial mindset
Week 4: Your business budget and setting up fee scales
Week 5: Business planning and next steps

This class is provided through a partnership with Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV), a non-profit organization that supports economic empowerment for people of all gender identities in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.
