Please join us for a spooky exploration of the American literary icon, Edgar Allan Poe.

Known and beloved for his Gothic tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was a central figure in American Romanticism who contributed greatly to the emergence of the Science Fiction and Detective Mystery genres. Best known for his marvelous and often dark short stories and poetry, Poe’s personal life was riddled with tragedy and financial hardship. He died in Baltimore 1849 at the age of 40 under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a highly influential body of work that continues to inspire and intrigue audiences today.
