SB Reads Kick-Off and First Thursday Art Reception | Central

Kick off SB Reads by picking up your copy of The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin at the reception for our SB Reads arts show Through Many Windows: A World Reimagined featuring local artists envision their own world or another future, possible world, catastrophic or otherwise, and answer the question: “What if?” Meet the artists and hear them reflect on their work. Refreshments will be provided.

Celebrate SB Reads and the Santa Barbara Public Library with the Santa Barbara Public Library Foundation. Arrive at the SB Reads Kick-off on October 6th at 4:30 PM and pick up your free T-Shirt. We will take a group photo at the Library Avenue entrance at 4:45 PM and share the Library is more than books with the community!
