Libraries help kids succeed and Santa Barbara Public Library (SBPL) and Santa Barbara Unified School District (SBUSD) are working together to make library access easier than ever for students.

You’re invited to have school artwork, photographs, and other paper-based materials carefully digitized by library staff.

Lunch at the Library returns with free food and fun from June 15 through August 14! Anyone ages 0-18 can enjoy free, nutritious lunches this summer through the USDA Summer Food Service Program.

June is African American Music Month! Kick off the celebration with a one-of-a-kind live music performance by The Funky Neighbors, happening on Sunday, May 31 from 1-4pm on the Michael Towbes Library Plaza.
