Student Success Cards
SBPL’s Student Success Library Cards are available to all students in Santa Barbara Unified School District (SBUSD). Parents or guardians can opt-in for a card when signing up for school using Aeries, or at any time during the year in the Aeries platform.
Student Success Library Cards allow students to check ebooks, books and more from the Library.
When you get a Student Success Library Card, you don’t need to carry a physical card to check out books or access online resources. Your library card number starts with 21447000 followed by your student’s school ID (lunch) number. You can directly type this number in when you want to log in to your library account, digital reading apps (link if we want), or to check things out at any Library or Library on the Go van stop.
Anytime you need a PIN to use a library resource, it will be the last four digits of the primary phone number listed in Aeries. Otherwise, try 1234 or call the Library at (805) 962-7653 to reset your PIN. You will need to give Library staff your student’s name and school ID number to reset the PIN.
