Make a difference in our community by volunteering at Santa Barbara Public Library. Volunteers increase the quality and breadth of Library services.

Volunteering at the Library has been a wonderful experience. The ability to assist and support learners as they work toward achieving their language goals has been a stimulating chapter in my life.

Volunteer Tutors use the Orton-Gillingham (OG) reading intervention approach to teach kids who are struggling readers

Teen Volunteer Time

Help library staff and the library at large. We meet in the lobby of the Central Library and start promptly at 4:00 PM on Wednesdays.
