Sustainability Challenge: Composting

Authored on
Body

As part of the Sustainably SBPL Series, we’re highlighting local resources and library materials to help patrons learn more about topics in our programming series and implement sustainable changes in their lives! For January, we’re focusing on composting!

Composting at home helps to keep kitchen and yard waste out of landfills, providing nutrients for your garden and putting them back into the soil. Local businesses such as restaurants, coffee shops, hotels and schools also participate in the City of Santa Barbara’s business composting program. Read more about the benefits of composting.
