Santa Barbara Public Library supports youth learning in many ways. We offer services to teachers, program leaders, summer camps, preschools, afterschool programs, and more!

Library Visits

Take a field trip to the Library or request that Library staff bring an activity to your site! Library staff offer STEM experiences, custom storytimes, behind-the-scenes access to the Library, demonstrations of digital resources and databases, and much more. You can request a Library visit by completing the School Field Trip or Library Visit form to give us more information about your group.

Book Match service

Need books on a specific topic? Library staff would love to curate a list of books for you! Fill out a kids Book Match request and we’ll let you know when your materials are ready. If your students would like to visit the Library to use materials, this request also helps us prepare materials for a research visit.
