Partner with the Library

SBPL reaches out to groups to collaborate on initiatives throughout the year. Groups interested in partnering with the Library should submit a Public Programming Partnership Interest Form to begin the conversation about a potential collaboration. 

For SBPL, ideal partnerships are: 

• Founded on a shared mission of community education
• Supported by all partners with time, energy, and resources 

Please note that the Library doesn’t have the staff capacity to support every project or program and plans potential collaborations 3-6 months in advance. 

Groups interested in collaborating on public programs offered on-site at an SBPL location should complete a Public Programming Partnership Interest Form. 

SBPL invites partners to promote community resources in the medium display case in the Lobby at Central Library. 

The Library display case is available for use by local community non-profit groups that are current Library partners. Displays should be attractive and inviting, designed to introduce new ideas, broaden interest, and develop appreciation and understanding of the various facets of our community. This service is offered free of charge.

The display case is available for one month. SBPL accepts requests beginning July 1 for the following year. Priority is given to those organizations that have not displayed in the previous two years.

The Library Director maintains the final authority and responsibility for approving requests for the use of the display cases.
