Santa Barbara Hosts 2024 Community Baby Shower New Parent Resource Fair
The Santa Barbara Public Library invites parents and caregivers to the annual Community Baby Shower sponsored by Children’s Resource and Referral of Santa Barbara County. The Community Baby Shower will take place on State Street, between Ortega and De La Guerra Streets, on Saturday, October 12, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. If you have recently welcomed—or are expecting—a baby, this special event is for you! Participants are invited to stop by anytime during this free event to learn about programs and services the library and partnering community organizations have to offer. The first 50 attendees will receive a gift bag with swag, including childproofing and care items, and a free board book from the Santa Barbara Public Library!

Santa Barbara Public Library will also highlight the library’s array of services and programs that support children and families, including early literacy classes, parenting classes, and more. The Community Baby Shower is a wonderful opportunity for new parents to connect with each other and learn about groups in our community that support the health, development, and early literacy of our little ones!
The Santa Barbara Public Library is a department of the City of Santa Barbara.
