Santa Barbara Public Library is holding two more SAT/ACT Study Sessions before it is time to take the big test! All students will also be provided free access to the online preparation platform: BrainFuse HelpNow.

Remaining SAT/ACT Study Sessions:
Dates: Saturday, February 21 & March 7
Time: 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Location: Central Library (40 E. Anapamu), Faulkner Gallery East
Parking: Available adjacent to Central Library in City Lots 6 and 7. The first 75 minutes are free. Each additional hour or part is $3.00.

Snacks will be provided.
Registration is required due to limited space.

During each session, library staff will be present to help guide students through questions as they explore test prep materials. Library iPads will be available for anyone unable to bring their own device.

Additionally, BrainFuse HelpNow is not only a great way to study standardized testing, but they also offer so much more than that. This includes free tutoring 25/7, a writing lab, a task tracker, flashcards, and more. Brainfuse HelpNow is an invaluable resource for all students to access the help they need and deserve. All it takes to sign up is your library card number!

“This is a great opportunity for students to get academic help, for free, with just their library card,” said Holly Higgins, Senior Librarian for Youth Services. “It’s a service I would love to see more teens take advantage of. BrainFuse makes that super easy, with tutors available 24/7.”

Altogether, standardized test preparation can be stressful, and Santa Barbara Public Library would love to help ease that stress by carving out time for students to have a quiet place to study, staff members to help answer any questions, and, of course, snacks. Happy testing season, scholars!
